Five-story office building framed with conventionally reinforced, cast-in-place concrete and has a two-story cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete parking structure connected by two pedestrian bridges.
Main building features include a full-height, curved, architecturally exposed concrete wall for the main entrance and architecturally exposed concrete beams and columns throughout each building facade.
Columns at the roof level are recessed from the perimeter and are supported on transfer girders.
This allows for an exterior terrace around the perimeter of the fifth floor.
Parking deck configuration and requirement to eliminate expansion joints required special analysis for thermal effects and pour strips to allow for elastic shortening after the stressing of the post-tensioning tendons.
