Engineering design for the projects listed above includes various types of design such as reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, composite and non-composite structural steel, masonry, and timber framing systems.  The design of these structures includes wind and seismic lateral analysis, building code and regulatory research, and three-dimensional structural analysis.  Design and detailing of structural elements includes beam and column design; load bearing and shear wall design; braced frame and moment frame design; and the design of traditional slabs, foundations and retaining structures.  Additional experience includes structural renovation of existing commercial buildings and industrial facilities.
