Engineering experience includes structural design of commercial, retail, institutional and educational facilities utilizing steel, concrete, masonry and timber framing systems. Structural steel framing systems include composite and non-composite beam systems, steel joists, conventional and moment resisting steel frames and long span steel structures. Concrete framing systems include conventional beam and slab, joists, skip joists, flat plates, and post-tensioned beam and slabs. Foundation systems include conventional spread footings, drilled piers, steel, timber and pre-cast piles, and retaining type structures. Special design considerations include multi-story architecturally exposed structural steel window wall frames, structural evaluation of existing structural systems, and remedial repair of existing concrete facilities utilizing epoxy injection.

Experience also includes the analysis and design of structural steel connections for both commercial and industrial projects and the responsibility of reviewing design documents to ensure satisfactory construction conditions and to determine economical and appropriate solutions where necessary. Also have experience in reviewing field and shop fabricating problems to determine economical solutions, along with reviewing designs to determine erection procedures.
