Engineering experience for the above projects includes the design of reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, composite and non-composite structural steel, masonry, timber, and cold-formed steel framing systems.  Projects include joist, beam and column design; shear wall and moment frame design; and the design of traditional slabs, foundations and retaining structures.  The design of these structures includes wind and seismic analysis, building code and regulatory research, and three-dimensional structural analysis. Experience also includes design of industrial/high temperature structural steel design as well as mat foundations and spread footings exposed to high vibrations.

 

Testing/field experience includes troubleshooting field quality control issues and communication with contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, field observation of proof rolling operations, foundation inspections, and preparation of geotechnical reports.  Report preparation includes performing and/or organizing site sub-surface exploration, soil classification, assigning laboratory testing, and managing budget and schedule.
